About the Role

Standard Group India is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations at our Mumbai head office. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to build their career in accounts and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting entries (purchase, sales, receipts, payments, expenses).
• Maintain ledgers and update financial records accurately.
• Support in bank reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
• Manage invoices, bills, vouchers, and proper documentation.
• Assist in GST and TDS-related basic tasks and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data.
• Support senior accountants during audits and month-end closing.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (B.Com preferred).
• 0–1 year of experience in accounting (freshers with internship experience welcome).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Tally ERP or any accounting software is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (basic functions).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
