Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accounting Assistant (Internship → Full‑Time)

*Overview*

We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented individual to join our finance team as a Junior Accounting Assistant. This is a 3‑month paid internship that can transition into a permanent entry‑level role for the right candidate. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, invoice processing, and month‑end reconciliations while supporting senior accountants.

*Key Responsibilities*

- Assist with daily ledger entries and journal postings.

- Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payments.

- Reconcile bank statements and petty‑cash accounts.

- Help compile data for month‑end close and basic financial reports.

- Maintain filing systems (digital & paper) and ensure document confidentiality.

- Learn and follow company policies, GAAP, and internal controls.

*Qualifications*

- Fresh graduate or final‑year student in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.

- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.

- Proficiency in English (written & spoken).

*Internship Details*

- Duration: 3 months (extendable).

- Stipend: PKR 22,000 per month + transport allowance.

- Full‑time schedule, Monday‑Saturday , 9 am‑6 pm (negotiable)

- Successful interns will be evaluated for a permanent Junior Accounting Assistant position.
