Junior Accountant

Zahr Freighters is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in accounting while supporting the financial operations of a growing logistics organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounts.
• Support the preparation of invoices, vouchers, and expense reports.
• Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist senior accountants with audits, reports, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; accounting software knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
