Job Title: Accountant

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end financial operations within a dynamic manufacturing and luxury retail environment. The role covers inventory accounting, sales and purchase management, operational expenses, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and analytical support to drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Account Finalization

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support finalization of accounts including Profit & Loss, ledgers, and financial summaries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Inventory, Costing & Operations Accounting

• Manage inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliation, and stock tracking
• Analyse manufacturing and operational costs; prepare cost reports
• Maintain records for operational purchases, cash flow, and expense management
• Support physical inventory audits and stock verification

Sales, Purchase & Vendor Accounting

• Handle sales and purchase entries, invoicing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
• Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and aging analysis
• Maintain structured documentation for operational and project purchases

Bookkeeping & Software Management

• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Strong working knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and bookkeeping software
• Manage GST-related documentation and financial data accuracy

Audit, Compliance & Financial Analysis

• Prepare reports and schedules for internal and external audits
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for cost optimization
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP/accounting software, and MS Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• CPA/CMA or equivalent certification preferred
• Understanding of tax compliance and operational accounting processes
