Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our financial department of HQ office in Dubai. You will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting the senior finance team in regional operations across the GCC(KSA & Kuwait). This is an excellent opportunity for a professional early in their career to grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Documentation: Formulate general ledger entries by imputing details of the firm's transactions, ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assistance in Reporting: Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements under the supervision of senior management.
  • Monthly Closure Support: Facilitate the monthly closure process by preparing basic computations for fixed assets, prepayments, and initial ledger data.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in handling the company’s annual external audit by organizing files, retrieving requested documents, and preparing preliminary schedules.
  • Compliance & Maintenance: Support the team in monitoring and maintaining fiscal activities to ensure they uphold standard laws and regulations.
  • Data Analysis Support: Provide accurate financial data and basic assessments to help senior management in their business review process.
  • Travel: Willingness to undertake irregular business travel to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other GCC countries for operational support.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal);Arabic will be a significant plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of work experience in the Finance sector (open to high-potential fresh graduates).
  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of accounting principles (Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and basic Profitability concepts).
  • Software: Proficient use of Tally & Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel skills like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
  • Soft Skills:

A keen eye for minute details and accuracy in data entry

Strong communication skills to interact clearly with other departments.

High level of integrity and a strong desire to learn and grow within the field.
