Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a long-term career in accounting and finance while gaining hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, ERP systems, and audit processes.

The selected candidate will work closely with the finance team and receive practical training to grow into higher accounting roles in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, accruals, and adjustments.

· Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.

· Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer collections, and supplier reconciliations.

· Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems.

· Support preparation of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.

· Assist in VAT, Zakat, and compliance-related documentation.

· Support external auditors by preparing reconciliations and required financial records.

· Maintain proper classification of assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues.

• Maintain organized financial documentation and proper filing systems for invoices, contracts, purchase orders, payment records, bank documents, tax records, and audit-related files.

· Assist in tracking fixed assets, depreciation schedules, inventory records, and asset movements.

· Work with accounting systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or ERP software.

· Learn budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and financial reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience in QuickBooks and Odoo preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good command of English (mandatory).
• Arabic language skills preferred.
• Must hold a valid and transferable Iqama.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Candidate:

• Currently residing in Jeddah.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice.
