Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedJunior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor cash flow and banking transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits.
• Monitor payroll processing and employee-related payments.
• Analyze financial data and provide management with recommendations.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy of records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4-7 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manpower supply, or facility management sectors.
