Royal Destinations Hospitality Services is looking for Junior Accountant cum Purchase Officer for our Dubai and Abu Dhabi outlets. In this role,, you will manage daily bookkeeping and vendor coordination while handling procurement tasks. Integrating cost control ensures that all purchases are budget-optimized, minimizing variances and preventing company overspend.
Core Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Process day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and vendor accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Procurement & Purchasing
- Source goods and services, negotiate prices, and negotiate favorable supplier contracts.
- Manage purchase orders (POs), track delivery schedules, and verify received goods against invoices.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors while continually evaluating market prices.
3. Cost Control & Analysis
- Track purchase prices against established budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking and minimize holding costs.
- Prepare routine cost analyses and variance reports to present to management.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a dual finance/purchasing or cost-control role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP or Pivot Tables), and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Attributes: Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and high attention to detail.
