Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the construction, contracting, or infrastructure sector.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support VAT filing, tax compliance, and audit-related activities.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with project and procurement teams to ensure accurate recording of project-related expenditures.
- Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance Manager as required.
