Junior Accountant (Entry-Level / Fresher)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career. You will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and support the senior accounting staff in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry: Accurately record daily transactions, including expenses, invoices, and bank statements.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist in processing payments to vendors and following up on outstanding client invoices.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements to ensure books match.
• Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation of tax filings (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) and audit documentation.
• Reporting: Support the team in preparing monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
• Clerical Support: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Mandatory).
• Software Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho) and high proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Core Knowledge: Strong grasp of "The Golden Rules of Accounting" and financial principles.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude, and a commitment to data privacy.
• Language: Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship experience in an accounting firm or finance department.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
