Junior Accounting Clerk/Office Manager

We are seeking a Junior Accounting Clerk / Executive Administrative Assistant to support both our accounting operations and executive leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting or administrative career who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology company.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in Reston, VA.

Remote work is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
  • Enter and process vendor invoices
  • Prepare and post journal entries in QuickBooks
  • Perform general ledger coding of vendor invoices
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting files and documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and documentation
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to invoices, expenses, and payments

Office Support

  • Oversee day to day office operations, ensuring a well- organized and productive work environment
  • Assist with mail/packages and incoming inventory
  • Plan and coordinate company meetings, travel arrangements, team events, including logistics, catering and venue arrangements
  • Assisting the CEO and COO with administrative duties
  • Serve as the point of contact for building management, facilities and external service providers.
  • Stocking of office supplies and employee kitchens

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with company matters
  • Professional communication and strong discretion with confidential information
  • Proficient with MacOS
  • Non-smoking is a firm requirement

Pay: $72,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
