Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and post to appropriate ledgers.
- Maintain and update sales, purchase, and expense registers.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Prepare GST workings and assist in filing returns.
- Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash records.
- Assist with monthly closing and report generation.
- Coordinate with vendors and clients for billing and payments.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documents.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills, and other accounting records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
