Job Title: Junior Architect Construction

Location: Thane (Wagle Estate)

Department: Architecture / Project Execution

Experience Required: 3 to 7 years (Construction Industry)

Reporting To: Senior Architect / Project Head

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

To support the end-to-end architectural planning and execution of construction projectsensuring timely delivery of detailed drawings, coordination with stakeholders, and adherence to design, technical, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, working plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.

Coordinate design intent with site execution teams, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings.

Participate in client and consultant meetings, capturing requirements and incorporating feedback into design revisions.

Prepare 3D models, renderings, and presentation layouts for design proposals.

Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building codes, bye-laws, FSI norms, DCR, fire safety, and accessibility regulations.

Collaborate with civil, MEP, and structural teams for coordinated drawings and clash resolution.

Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality, providing design clarification to site engineers as needed.

Assist in preparing documents for statutory approvals (Municipal, RERA, Environmental, Fire NOC, etc.).

Coordinate with vendors, material suppliers, and contractors for design detailing and execution requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university.

Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.

Key Skills & Tools:

Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, MS Office; knowledge of Photoshop, Lumion, or Twinmotion is an advantage.

Knowledge of construction detailing, material specifications, and technical standards.

Strong understanding of building codes, FSI calculations, DCR norms, and approval processes.

Ability to manage drawing documentation and version control.

Excellent communication, coordination, and project tracking skills.

Strong site coordination and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Project Experience:

Residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Experience in both design studio and site-based architectural execution roles.

Exposure to multi-phase real estate or infrastructure projects.
