Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer (Drawings & Authority Submissions)

Zed Point Interiors is hiring a detail-oriented Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer with strong expertise in technical drawings, drafting, and authority submission documentation for interior fit-out projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing precise drawings and coordinating approvals, rather than only conceptual design.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed working drawings, shop drawings, and IFC drawings
• Develop authority submission drawings & documentation
• Prepare layout plans, joinery details, sections, elevations, and MEP coordination drawings
• Modify drawings as per site conditions and consultant feedback
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors
• Assist with BOQs, material schedules, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authority standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 1–2 years UAE experience in interior fit-out/drafting
• Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of authority approvals: DEWA, DCD, DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel
• Good understanding of technical detailing and construction drawings
• Organized, accurate, and deadline-focused

Preferred

• Revit/SketchUp knowledge
• Experience in commercial or retail fit-out projects
