We are looking for a creative and technical Junior Architect/Designer to join our growing team and assist in bringing concepts to reality.

Role Overview

As a Junior Architect/Designer, you will work closely with senior architects and project managers to develop detailed design proposals and technical drawings. This role requires a blend of creative flair and technical knowledge, as you will be involved in everything from initial mood boards to on-site supervision during the fit-out phase.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Drafting:

• Assist in the creation of layout plans, mood boards, and concept presentations for clients.
• Produce detailed 2D technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details) using AutoCAD.
• Develop high-quality 3D visuals and renders using SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software to help clients visualize the space.

2. Project Coordination & Execution:

• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications for materials and finishes.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials (lighting, furniture, flooring, etc.) that meet design and budget requirements.
• Prepare documentation for relevant authority approvals (e.g., building management, municipality) where required.

3. Site Supervision:

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is being executed according to the approved drawings and standards.
• Liaise with the site foreman and contractors to resolve minor technical issues that arise during construction.
• Measure existing spaces (site surveys) and convert them into accurate as-built drawings.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 0–2 years of experience in the interior design or fit-out industry (Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
• Experience with residential or commercial fit-out projects is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong skills in 3dsmax and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for presentation purposes.
• Basic understanding of construction materials, joinery details, and MEPh (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) basics.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills (English is mandatory; Hindi/Malayalam/Arabic is a plus for site coordination).
• Eagerness to learn about local building codes and authority regulations.
