Junior Assembly Coordinator

Description:

Tramec Sloan of Galion, OH is currently seeking a Junior Assembly Coordinator.

The Junior Assembly Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of assembly operations. This role ensures that production schedules are met efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and communication flows smoothly between departments such as production, logistics, and quality control.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in coordinating daily assembly operations to meet production targets.
• Monitor workflow, materials, and manpower to ensure smooth assembly processes.
• Track production schedules and report progress to supervisors or management.
• Communicate with procurement to ensure timely availability of components.
• Support quality control by identifying and reporting assembly issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Help resolve minor operational issues and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• May be asked to cross train in other areas.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements: high school diploma or associate degree (technical or manufacturing field preferred).

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
• Basic understanding of production processes and workflow coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
