Junior Associate – Employment Law

We are looking for a Junior Associate with strong expertise in employment law to join our team. This role offers direct client interaction, participation in high-scale projects, and the opportunity to collaborate with international teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law and admission to the Bar in Turkey,
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in employment law, preferably in a reputable law firm or a global corporate group,
  • Proven experience in large-scale projects, including contract drafting and revision, preparation of company policies and procedures, and day-to-day advisory services,
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to attend and support client meetings,
  • Employment law knowledge is a must ,
  • Knowledge of regulatory & compliance matters and litigation is a strong plus,
  • Excellent project management skills ensuring key deliverables are issued on time,
  • Solid legal notion and eagerness to learn, develop and grow,
  • Ability to follow legal and regulatory developments both in Turkey and worldwide,
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English .


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Providing legal assistance to national and multinational clients on employment law matters including but not limited to employment relations, secondments, social security and global employment,
  • Attending client meetings and assisting on daily advisory requests,
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, agreements, policies, procedures and notifications,
  • Supporting disputes and litigation matters when needed,
  • Taking part in legal due diligence projects, contributing to reports and coordination,
  • Collaborating with tax and legal advisors on cross-border projects,
  • Conducting in-depth research to support legal strategies and provide insight-enabled recommendations,
  • Following up on updates in legislation and preparing legal alerts/briefs,
  • Developing knowledge of relevant rules and regulations by training participation, independent research, and continuous learning,
  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing information on client rights and obligations to prepare for legal transactions.
