Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Attorney licensed in New Jersey BAR to join our dynamic legal team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise across diverse practice areas, including Estate planning, Real Estate law, Immigration law, Family law, and more. As a Junior Attorney, you will support senior attorney by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with Contracts and transactional matters. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will contribute to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients while gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced environment. SPANISH knowledge is good to have.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and negotiations by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Support attorneys in managing client communications and maintaining case management systems within the law office.
  • Participate in negotiations on behalf of clients across various practice areas including estate planning, landlord-tenant disputes, family law matters, and Real Estate transactions.
  • Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases involving personal injury law or workers’ compensation claims.
  • Help ensure compliance with NJ laws and regulations when applicable by researching specific jurisdictional requirements.
  • Knowledge of Billing software and MS WORD, EXCEL and ACROBAT

Requirements

  • Valid license to practice law in New Jersey BAR with current standing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple practice areas such as estate planning, Real Estate law, immigration law, family law, securities law, and other areas of law.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for effective legal analysis.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafts.
  • Experience with legal administrative tasks including case management and document organization.
  • Familiarity with legal software tools such as Docket wise and USCIS.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
