Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Concept Designer to support our internal sales team in the development of early-stage design concepts. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career designer who is eager to learn and contribute to conceptual and schematic design work by translating ideas, sketches, and design direction into clear AutoCAD 3D models and drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing conceptual and schematic AutoCAD 3D models and drawings based on design briefs and sketches- Translate design concepts into basic layouts, plans, and 2D drawings
- Communication of the company’s design standards to clients
- Revise drawings based on feedback from senior designers and sales teams
- Maintain drawing standards, layers, and file organization
- Participate in design coordination and internal review meetings
- Help prepare drawings for presentations and client reviews
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional experience in AutoCAD drafting or design support
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D modeling and 2D drafting)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans (plan view, elevations, sections, etc.)
- Ability to follow sketches, markups, and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic experience in design or drafting
- Exposure to conceptual or schematic design phases
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or 3DS Max is a plus
