Position: Junior Ayurveda Therapist

Qualification

• Diploma in Ayurveda / Panchakarma Therapy from an authorized and recognized Ayurveda training institute
• Basic certification in Panchakarma therapies is mandatory

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Ayurvedic and Panchakarma therapies
• Experience in Ayurveda hospitals, wellness centres, or therapy clinics preferred

Age Criteria

• 20 to 25 years
• (Age flexibility may be considered for candidates with strong practical exposure.)

Key Responsibilities

Therapy Execution & Patient Care

• Perform Panchakarma and classical Ayurvedic therapies as prescribed by the doctor or senior therapist
• Assist in therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, and other routine treatments
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity during all therapy sessions

Support to Senior Therapists & Doctors

• Work under the guidance of senior therapists and Ayurvedic doctors
• Assist in preparation of therapy rooms, medicines, oils, and equipment
• Follow instructions and treatment protocols accurately

Hygiene & Quality Standards

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of therapy rooms and treatment areas
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and infection control standards
• Ensure proper handling and storage of therapy materials

Patient Interaction & Communication

• Explain therapy procedures politely and clearly to patients
• Communicate with patients in English and Hindi; additional languages are an advantage
• Escalate patient concerns or discomfort promptly to senior staff

Documentation & Discipline

• Record basic therapy details as required
• Maintain punctuality, professional conduct, and teamwork standards

Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of basic Panchakarma therapies
• Good manual dexterity and willingness to learn advanced techniques
• Polite communication and patient-friendly attitude
• Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team
• Physically fit for therapy-related duties
