Junior Barista

Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Junior Barista to join our team. The Junior Barista will assist in preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, support senior staff, and ensure customers receive excellent service. This role is ideal for someone passionate about coffee, eager to learn, and ready to grow in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drink Preparation & Service
• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages under supervision.
• Learn and maintain consistency in coffee recipes, presentation, and quality.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to customers.

• Team Support
• Assist senior baristas in daily operations.
• Follow instructions and training to develop skills in brewing, latte art, and customer service.
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.

• Customer Experience
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Answer basic questions about menu items.
• Handle customer concerns politely and escalate when needed.

• Operational Duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and café area.
• Restock supplies (coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, etc.).
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist with closing and opening duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge or passion for coffee and café culture.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Working Conditions

• Part-time or full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Standing for long periods in a busy café environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 per month
