Junior Bookkeeper

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to assist our Administrative Bookkeeper and Office Manager with day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks.

This is a part-time position ideal for someone who has basic bookkeeping knowledge, strong organizational skills, and an interest in growing within a professional office and business operations environment.

The Junior Bookkeeper will support the bookkeeping function by helping maintain accurate records, organize financial documents, enter data, and assist with routine accounting and office tasks.

Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping Support

  • Assist with entering daily financial transactions, expenses, deposits, and invoices
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking
  • Support bank and credit card reconciliation preparation
  • Help with invoicing, billing, and payment tracking
  • Enter and update financial data in QuickBooks Online
  • Organize receipts, invoices, statements, and financial documents
  • Assist with expense reports and basic financial summaries
  • Provide support to the Bookkeeper as needed

Administrative & Office Support

  • Assist the Office Manager and Bookkeeper with daily administrative tasks
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Help coordinate vendor communications and service scheduling
  • Assist with office supply tracking and general office logistics
  • Help maintain project and workflow tracking systems
  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and general office coordination
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Basic bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Experience working in a small business or office environment
  • Experience with Monday.com or other project management software
  • Interest in long-term growth within the company

What We Offer
