Summary
The Junior Brand Manager serves as a key partner to the Brand Manager in developing, executing, and optimizing brand strategies that support against annual business objectives. This role blends strategic thinking with executional excellence — translating consumer insights, syndicated data, and market trends into actionable recommendations while ensuring seamless delivery of consumer campaigns to support brands, promotions, and innovation initiatives.
The Junior Brand Manager plays an important role in bringing products and campaigns to market, supporting innovation launches, and strengthening brand performance across retail, digital, and in-store channels. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive, business owner mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Partners with Brand Manager in the development, execution, and optimization of annual brand plans to achieve revenue, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Develops new product campaigns and channel initiatives and brings them to market with executional excellence, supporting strategic growth initiatives and ensuring on-time, high-quality launches.
- Interprets syndicated data (SPINS, IRI, Numerator, and related tools) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear actions for brand, sales, and leadership teams.
- Reviews and updates catalogs, brand toolkits, price lists, master sheets, and brand documentation with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Uses market data and consumer insights to identify innovation opportunities, renovation priorities, and white space for brand expansion.
- Evaluates promotional effectiveness and pricing strategies, delivering post-event analysis and forward-looking recommendations.
- Coordinates brand initiatives with Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, external agencies, and creative partners to ensure integrated execution.
- Leads execution of creative campaigns, brand content, and promotions across traditional, digital, social, and in-store channels.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within scope.
- Develops executive-ready insights, summaries, and narratives that support internal alignment and external selling stories.
- Supports brand budget planning and management, including ARM entries, promotional spend reconciliation, and variance analysis, escalating risks or discrepancies with recommended actions.
- Supports Brand Manager cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to align brand plans with commercial realities.
- Flows with agility across shifting priorities while demonstrating ownership, accountability, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Performs other duties as assigned in alignment with Performance Objectives.
- Identifies opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, processes, and measurement frameworks.
- Manages projects independently, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timing, and business-impact expectations.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business, or related field preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, CPG marketing, and supporting product launches with cross-functional commercialization processes is strongly preferred.
Language Skills
- Ability to analyze and present information clearly in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Comfortable presenting insights to managers, sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
Analytical & Reasoning Skills
- Strong ability to synthesize multiple data sources into cohesive insights.
- Demonstrated experience turning data into recommendations, not just reporting.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
- Strong business acumen and ownership mindset.
Computer & Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis).
- Strong PowerPoint storytelling and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with syndicated data platforms (SPINS, IRI, Numerator, Cognos).
- Experience with project management systems and ERP/item setup systems preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- No direct reports; may provide direction to junior analysts, interns, or external analytics partners.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
