Junior Business Analyst

Under guidance of the Sr. Business Analyst, the Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M culture.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis.
  • Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models.
  • Create, develop, provide, and coordinate system trainings, materials, and other educational tools.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
  • Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilities.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Stratix system, preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft programs and windows-based applications.
  • Experience in SQL report writing, preferred.
  • Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Self-directed and detailed, with creative brainstorming and solutioning skills and strong communications.
  • Critical thinking skills, superior communication skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to bring cross-functional areas together to drive understanding of point of departure/point of arrival and gaps are necessary tools to be successful in the role.
  • Expertise in Microsoft programs and windows-based applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or related field.
  • Industry knowledge and experience, preferred.
