Role Overview

Global Soft Solutions is looking for a proactive Junior Business Data Analyst to support client projects by bridging business requirements with technical solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who want to build a career in IT consulting, data analysis, and business process transformation.

You will work with cross-functional teams including clients, developers, QA teams, and project managers, to deliver scalable and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Assist in conducting JAD sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
• Understand client business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Develop and maintain reports using Excel or reporting tools
• Support creation of dashboards and data visualizations
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation tasks
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support sprint planning and execution
• Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, SRS, and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong Excel skills and basic data handling capabilities
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart
• Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau
• Understanding of APIs or system integrations (basic level)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
