Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Business Data Analyst to support financial systems, reporting processes, and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial datasets, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and transaction data
• Assist in preparation and validation of financial reports and dashboards
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting (e.g., audits, internal controls)
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define system requirements
• Perform data reconciliation and variance analysis
• Assist in the automation of financial reporting processes
• Participate in gap analysis and process improvement initiatives
• Support UAT to ensure accuracy of financial calculations and reporting logic
• Document business processes, workflows, and financial system requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (financial formulas, data analysis)
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Preferred Skills

• Basic SQL or database querying
• Knowledge of financial tools (SAP, Oracle Financials)
• Understanding of SOX compliance or financial regulations

Pay: $68,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
