Junior Camp Activities Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with teens and creating engaging activities to promote learning and development.

Dates: July 5-August 1

Location: Barnard College

Shifts: 8:30-1:00 or 5:45-9:15

Hours / Week: 20-25 hours (Part Time)

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for teens in Manhattan
- Assist in supervising children during touristic activities throughout NYC using public transportation
- Provide support to children who require additional assistance
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of programs

-Airport meet and greets at JFK, Newark or La Guardia

Experience:
- Previous experience in childhood development, tutoring, childcare, babysitting, or related fields. Ability to manage a group of international teenagers. Have a strong, energetic presence
- Experience working with children/teens or students in educational settings especially international students
- Background in sports coaching or similar activities is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage children in various activities
