Role Summary

The Junior Closing Associate plays a key role within our Investor Relations Department, primarily responsible for coordinating investor equity closings across our DST, Qualified Opportunity Zone and REIT offerings. This includes managing the full closing process (from pre-closing through post-closing) by working closely with investors, registered representatives and qualified intermediaries.

Core responsibilities include preparing and delivering closing documents via Salesforce and DocuSign, reviewing and organizing materials for closing binder packages, mailing final documents and providing phone support as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of 1031 exchanges, DSTs, and other tax-advantaged real estate structures, all while contributing to a dynamic and growing organization.

We are seeking team members who are committed to upholding and enhancing our high standards for delivering timely and accurate equity closings. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who will collaborate across multiple departments within Capital Square and play a key role in our best-in-class Investor Relations team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Determine accuracy of information provided and create closing documents for investor signature
  • Liaise with registered representatives, qualified intermediaries and investors to obtain required closing documents
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy and organize final closing binders for disbursement
  • Consistently enter information and notes in CRM system
  • Back-up all members of the Investor Relations Department as needed
  • Assist the closing department in all projects
  • Field investor services calls
  • Communicate in an effective and timely manner with all closing parties

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, commensurate experience considered
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced office environment with an emphasis on organizational skills
  • Experience in real estate closings, title work, or loan processing preferred, but not required
  • Familiariarity with legal organizational documents (trusts, operating agreements, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work under strict deadlines

Work Hours

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM or as position requires.

Work Location

Office based; optional remote day (1) each week.
