As a Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will work under the guidance of experienced ophthalmologists to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of eye conditions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to evaluate and diagnose patients.
  • Assist in the management and treatment of ocular diseases and conditions.
  • Participate in surgical procedures, gaining hands on experience and support from senior ophthalmologists.
  • Provide patients with information about eye health, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Engage in patient follow ups to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and management of patients.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Ophthalmology.
  • Eligibility for board certification in Ophthalmology.
  • Some clinical experience in ophthalmology is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, diseases, and treatment protocols.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work under the supervision of senior consultants and learn from their expertise.
