Junior Consultant Pediatric ER-Private Healthcare Sector

SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Junior Consultant Pediatric ER physician to join a leading private healthcare facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career pediatricians to develop their expertise in emergency care for children within a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Junior Consultant in the Pediatric ER, you will assist in the assessment and management of acute pediatric emergencies under the guidance of senior consultants. You will participate actively in providing prompt, high-quality care to young patients and support the multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating and managing pediatric patients presenting with urgent health concerns in the emergency department.
• Perform necessary diagnostic tests and administer treatments as directed by senior medical staff.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes promptly to the consulting team.
• Document patient encounters meticulously in accordance with institutional and legal standards.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Participate in training sessions, case discussions, and quality improvement activities within the department.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across various disciplines.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Pediatrics.
• Basic certification or experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
• Licensed and registered to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong interest and commitment to developing a career in pediatric emergency care.
• Good clinical judgment and ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and their families.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Eagerness to learn and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Salary is AED 45K TO AED 90K
