Job Summary

As a copywriter, you'll work alongside the art director within the creative department. You'll work from client briefs to conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns. You'll focus on providing the written words (the copy) for an advertising campaign.

Copy can include: Creating headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copy for print advertising and leaflets writing for web advertising, social media and mobile applications, creating scripts for radio jingles and TV commercials.

You'll also work with media planners/media buyers and the production department to fully develop an advertising campaign
Role & Responsibilities

Work in partnership with an art director to form a creative team working on creative briefs

Knowledge about real estate advertisement

Develop & Manage content strategists and oversee all content creation activities for the clients.

Familiarize yourself with your clients' products and services, the target audience and their competitors' activities.

Develop innovative strategies for clients basis their overall brand strategy and goals.

Write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project.

Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar

Ensure monthly calendars detailing strategy for clients as well as internal briefs for the creative/photography/ ATL/ Digital ( etc )teams are shared in a timely manner.

Collaborate with our internal teams to manage the planning, creation, and delivery of original content.

Amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients

Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Monitor the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
Qualification

Hands-on experience in social media marketing and content development

Previous knowledge or background in copywriting is a must

Previous experience with Instagram & Facebook marketing is a plus

Understanding of aesthetic

Experience in/around a startup culture is a plus- i.e. you can adapt to quick changes within the company

The ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles, with accurate spelling and grammar
