Junior Corporate Lawyer – MIO Law Firm (Dubai, UAE)


Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Lawyer with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with direct exposure to clients and transactions in the UAE and internationally.


Key Responsibilities


  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements (e.g., shareholder agreements, NDAs, settlement agreements, JV contracts).
  • Supporting on M&A, restructuring, and corporate governance matters.
  • Conducting legal research on UAE laws and regulations, and preparing legal opinions and memoranda.
  • Assisting in company formation, compliance filings, and licensing matters across onshore and free zone jurisdictions.
  • Preparing bilingual (Arabic/English) legal documentation where required.
  • Liaising with government authorities, regulators, and notaries for corporate transactions.
  • Supporting the litigation and dispute resolution team on commercial disputes when necessary.
  • Ensuring meticulous attention to detail and timely delivery of work.


Requirements


  • LLB or equivalent law degree (LLM is an advantage).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in corporate/commercial law, preferably in the UAE
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Arabic language skills would be considered a strong advantage but are not essential.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Strong organizational skills and client-service mindset.
