Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are supporting our client on a search for a Junior Data Analyst in Atlanta on a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office). This is the seat where you learn to turn raw data into decisions. You will write SQL every day, build and own dashboards, and get exposure to product, marketing, and finance questions from the jump.

Compensation

$60,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

What You Will Do

- Write SQL to pull, clean, and QA data across product, marketing, and finance sources

- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Mode, or Metabase

- Turn recurring stakeholder questions into repeatable, self-serve views

- Investigate anomalies in KPIs and share findings with clear commentary

- Partner with senior analysts on A/B test analysis and cohort work

- Document data definitions so the org trusts what it sees

What You Bring

- 0-2 years of analytics, business intelligence, or heavy-Excel experience

- Working SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions - you can pass a screen)

- Comfort with a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Mode, Sigma, Metabase, Power BI)

- Strong written communication - can turn a query result into a two-sentence takeaway

- Bachelors in stats, econ, math, CS, or equivalent hands-on experience

- Bonus: Python/pandas, dbt exposure
