Junior Data Scientist

Main Purpose of Job

To build models/tools for generating accurate demand forecast. The Jr. Data Scientist will consistently monitor the performance of the model/tool both in terms of productivity and output accuracy and work on enhancing them. The Jr. Data Scientist will closely collaborate with demand analysts and demand planners to receive insights that might impact the performance of the demand planning.

Key Outputs

• Develop & sustain models.
• Design and implement continuous improvement actions in the forecasting tool.
• Support the demand analyst at the hub and the demand planning team at the market on performing all required back-testing activities to setup the foecasting tool.
• Partner with the Demand Planner & the Demand Analyst to collect inputs that can increase the accuracy of the demand forecast.

Key Experiences:

• 2+ years of experience in demand plan modelling (time series/statistical/ML).
• 2+ years of experience in Python/PySpark
• 2+years of experience in Azure resources, Snowflake and Databricks.
