Job Description:

A Junior Dentist is an entry-level dental professional who works under the supervision of experienced dentists to gain practical experience and refine their clinical skills. They assist in various dental procedures, patient care, and clinic operations while learning the nuances of dentistry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Assist in patient examinations, take dental X-rays, and perform initial assessments of oral health conditions.

2. Dental Procedures: Support senior dentists in performing dental procedures, including root canal treatments, scaling , fillings,restorations and wisdom tooth extractions.

3. Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure a clean and hygienic clinic environment.

4. Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.

5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment notes.

6. Sterilization: Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment for procedures.

7. Dental Technology: Familiarize oneself with dental technologies and equipment used in the clinic.

8. Assisting in Orthodontics: Assist in the placement and maintenance of orthodontic devices such as braces.

9. Pain Management: Provide support in managing patient pain and discomfort during dental procedures.

10. Continuous Learning: Attend training and continuing education programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from an accredited dental school.

- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a dental practitioner in the respective jurisdiction.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a dental team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
