Junior Design Coordinator / Administrator (Entry-Level)

This is a unique entry-level opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to launch a career in the highly specialized and in-demand Interior Design industry.

We are a high-end boutique, fast-paced, and creative firm. While an understanding of design is a plus, our priority is finding a candidate who is organized, eager to learn, and ready to support our day-to-day operations. Work Environment & Schedule

• Location: Based out of a professional home office in Sherman Oaks, CA.
• Field Work: This is not a strictly desk-based position. Field days include site visits, client measurements, and visits to local factories.
• Servicing: Primarily the Greater Los Angeles area.
• Flexibility: Hours vary depending on the project schedule. We need a candidate who can adapt as needs shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Project Support: Create estimates and invoices using QuickBooks Online; handle ordering and delivery scheduling.
• Coordination: Manage the calendar, schedule appointments, and maintain proactive follow-through on all project tasks.
• Administrative: Manage emails, correspondence, and digital filing to keep the business running smoothly.
• Brand Presence: Navigate and help manage social media platforms.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle for site visits and errands.
• Soft Skills: A fast learner who is tidy, detail-oriented, and able to pivot when schedules change at a moment's notice.
• Culture Fit: Must love dogs.

Part time: Hours will vary depending on the schedule

Not all days are spent in the office. Some days include site visits, client measures, interacting with factories etc..... We work out of a home office that is located in Sherman Oaks. Our field days take us mainly to the Greater Los Angeles area / San Fernando Valley

Compensation

• Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience) with room to grow.
• Travel: Mileage reimbursement provided for all field work and errands.
