Junior Designer (1099 Contract)

We’re seeking a Junior Designer to join us on an independent contractor basis (1099). This role is perfect for someone with some professional experience who’s eager to develop their skills, adapt to dynamic project needs, and contribute meaningfully to our team.

What we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years of design experience (interior design or related fields preferred)
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, or similar)
• Strong creative and technical skills, with attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a boutique studio environment
• Based in Miami, with availability for occasional travel to Naples, FL
• Highly organized, proactive, and open to learning

What you’ll do:

• Assist with design presentations, mood boards, and client-facing materials
• Support the team in sourcing, drafting, and documenting design projects
• Help coordinate design details and project deliverables
• Be available and adaptable to support ongoing project needs

Compensation:

• Independent contractor (1099) for the first 6 months
• Hourly pay: $18–$25/hr, depending on experience
• Potential to transition to a longer-term role if workload continues steadily
