Junior Designer

About the job:

Alekh is looking for a Junior Fashion Designer with 1-2 years of experience to join our creative team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design and development of new collections, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision. Brainstorm, ideate and sketch new concepts. Develop detailed sketches and illustrations that effectively showcase design concepts.

* Managing design process from conception through to final fitting.

* Collaborate with the design team on fabric sourcing, color palettes, and patterns.

* Conduct research on current fashion trends and industry developments.

* Assist in the preparation for photoshoots, presentations, and fashion events.

* Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain design standards.

* Assist in handling and executing customization orders, ensuring client satisfaction.

* Managing online sales and social media accounts.

Qualifications Required:

* Bachelors in Fashion Design from NIFT, NID or similar institutions

* 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or a related role.

* Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

* Knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.

* Strong communication skills and a passion for fashion design.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
