THE ROLE
At Hunger Inc., we believe good design is as essential as great food. We’re looking for a
Junior Designer – Digital
to bring strong execution and fresh ideas to the digital expression of our brands – The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Veronica’s, Bombay Sweet Shop, and Papa’s.
This role is
fully focused on digital design
. You will work exclusively on performance marketing creatives, paid ads, social media content, and emailers across platforms. From high-converting ad creatives to scroll-stopping social posts, your work will directly impact how our brands show up online and drive engagement, traffic, and sales.
You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing and brand teams to translate briefs into compelling digital assets that are visually sharp, on-brand, and optimized for performance.
A key focus of your work will be on the fast-growing
Bombay Sweet Shop
, along with supporting digital campaigns across all Hunger Inc. brands.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a curious, internet-savvy designer who understands digital culture and how people consume content online. You have a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling — especially in fast-paced digital environments.
You’re comfortable working within platform formats, adapting designs for different ratios, and iterating quickly based on feedback or performance data.
You may be early in your career, but you’re eager to learn, experiment, and grow into a strong digital-first designer.
YOUR TEAM
You’ll be part of the marketing and creative team, working closely with performance marketers, copywriters, content creators, and senior designers. This is a highly collaborative role where speed, clarity, and communication matter.
WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO
You’ll report to the Senior Graphic Designer / Associate Creative Director and work closely with the Hunger Inc. brand and performance marketing teams.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Create engaging posts, carousels, stories, and reels covers tailored to each brand’s digital voice.
Design visually compelling emailers for launches, festive campaigns, promotions, and storytelling moments.
Adapt and resize creatives across multiple formats and ratios, ensuring clarity, consistency, and conversion-focused design.
Quickly iterate on designs based on feedback, A/B testing insights, and campaign performance.
Ensure all digital outputs align with each brand’s visual identity and tone.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Digital-First Thinking:
You understand how design functions differently across ads, social, and email.
Strong Visual Sense:
Good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition.
Experience:
1–3 years of relevant design experience, with a portfolio that includes digital ads, social media creatives, and emailers.
Tools:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Basic motion graphics (After Effects) or video editing skills are a strong plus.
Speed & Adaptability:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.
Detail-Oriented:
You care about alignment, spacing, exports, and platform specs.
Collaborative:
Open to feedback and comfortable working closely with marketing teams.
