We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of experience who has a foundational understanding of cloud technologies, primarily AWS, with additional exposure to GCP or Azure being a plus. The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, and a basic understanding of networking, databases, and Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWS (GCP/Azure is a plus).
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Work with Docker to manage containerized applications and assist in Kubernetes orchestration.
- Learn and contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
- Support the management of network configurations, including VPCs, security groups, and firewalls.
- Assist in database management for SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Work with different Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) for system administration and automation.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance DevOps workflows.
- Help implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic experience with AWS, with exposure to GCP or Azure being a plus.
- Understanding of Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs).
- Familiarity with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and basic system administration tasks.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation.
- Awareness of IAM best practices, security policies, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI DSS, CIS)
