Junior Doctor / Assistant Physician (OPD)

Job Objective:

We are looking for a young, energetic, and compassionate Junior Doctor to assist in our outpatient department (OPD). The ideal candidate will support the senior physician in patient care, maintain clinical efficiency, and ensure a smooth and professional patient experience.

This role is perfect for a fresh MBBS or BHMS graduate seeking hands-on clinical experience in a patient-centered environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MBBS or BHMS degree from a recognized medical institution
• Valid registration with the State Medical Council (for MBBS) or Homoeopathic Council (for BHMS)
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Female candidates are strongly preferred (to facilitate examination and consultation of female patients)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
• Warm, empathetic, and professional bedside manner
• Basic knowledge of common illnesses, patient history-taking, and general examination procedures
• Proficiency in using computers and maintaining digital records

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the senior doctor in patient consultations and clinical examinations
• Take detailed patient history and record symptoms accurately
• Perform basic physical examinations under supervision
• Prepare patients for consultation and assist during OPD procedures
• Help in maintaining patient records (manual or digital)
• Advise patients on basic health instructions, medication timing, and follow-ups
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the OPD area
• Handle patient inquiries with courtesy and professionalism
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards

Compensation:

Attractive monthly stipend/salary ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (negotiable based on qualification and experience)

Work Schedule:

• Morning OPD: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Evening OPD: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

(6-7 hours total per day)

• Sunday: Day Off

Clinic closed on Sundays or by mutual agreement
