Junior Draftsman - Electrical (Interior Fi-Out exp is must)

We are seeking a skilled Junior Electrical Draftsman to support the preparation of technical drawings for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of drafting experience, strong AutoCAD proficiency, and a solid understanding of electrical layouts and coordination within interior environments such as commercial offices, retail spaces, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop electrical drawings including lighting layouts, small power layouts, cable routing, containment layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Create shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings based on IFC/design drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and other engineering drawings to ensure clash-free layout planning.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer mark-ups, design changes, and client feedback.
• Assist with material take-offs and preparation of drawing submittal packages.
• Ensure drawing accuracy, version control, and systematic documentation.
• Conduct site surveys when required to verify dimensions and existing conditions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in interior fit-out / MEP contracting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Revit MEP is an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical layouts, lighting, power distribution, and low-current systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate across teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in commercial fit-out projects (offices, retail, hospitality).
• Familiarity with local authority standards and approval requirements.
