Junior Electrical Engineer-Power Project Poposals

Location: Doha
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)
Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week

Salary: QAR 5,500.00 all-inclusive salary package

Job Description:

Our client, a global engineering technology company in Qatar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to support electrical power project proposals, planning, engineering coordination, and project execution activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of electrical power project proposals, technical submissions, and cost estimates.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining project records.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical requirements and vendor documentation.
• Prepare project status reports and provide updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE/EEE preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, project coordination, power projects, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, substations, and distribution networks.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD and project management tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
