Junior Electrical QS / Estimation Engineer

Hiring: Junior Electrical QS / Estimation Engineer – MEP Contracting UAE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical QS / Estimation Engineer to join our growing MEP Contracting team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Quantity Take-Off (QTO), cost estimation, and strong knowledge of electrical MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate Quantity Take-Off (QTO) from electrical drawings

Review tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs

Prepare cost estimates and pricing breakdowns

Coordinate with procurement, site, and project teams

Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations

Support tender submissions and related documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 1 year UAE experience in Electrical QS / Estimation (Mandatory)

Strong experience in Quantity Take-Off (QTO)

Proficiency in:

PlanSwift (Mandatory) , AutoCAD , MS Excel , MS Word

Basic knowledge of DEWA Standards

Ability to prepare BOQ take-off and quantity estimation

Experience in residential building quantity take-off

Good knowledge of electrical MEP systems and UAE market pricing

Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred:

Experience in MEP / Electrical Contracting field

Knowledge of electrical systems and shop drawings

Priority will be given to candidates who can perform accurate quantity take-off using PlanSwift

Salary:Will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
