Job Description
Job Title: Junior Engineer – Machine Shop
Department: ESR Forging Location: Hisar Reporting To: Production Head -
Job Purpose:
The Junior Engineer- Machine Shop is responsible for shift operations in cutting, grinding and machining to ensure timely production, dispatch readiness and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shift planning for cutting, grinding, and machining operations.
- Monitor and ensure availability of tools and consumables for smooth shift execution.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, downtime records and shift handover notes.
- Coordinate with PPC for dispatch planning.
- Ensure readiness of packaging and documentation for dispatch materials.
- Perform SAP entries for material transfer and process tracking.
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and compliance protocols during all operations.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Production
- Hands-on experience with lathe, plano-miller and band saw machines

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of cutting, grinding and machining operations.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection tools.
- Effective coordination with PPC, dispatch and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in production reporting, SAP transactions and documentation for traceability
