Junior Engineer (Civil)

We are currently looking to hire experienced professionals for the role of Junior civil engineer

Position: Junior Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

1- Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities (civil, finishing, MEP).
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings and approved specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and vendors.
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.

2- Quality Control

• Check levels, alignments, and finishing standards.
• Ensure tile laying, plastering, grouting, gypsum, painting, etc., meet quality benchmarks.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain quality checklists flat-wise.

3- Progress Monitoring

• Maintain daily work progress reports (DPR).
• Track flat-wise status (brickwork, plastering, doors, wiring, grid ceiling, painting, etc.).
• Report delays and bottlenecks to senior management.
• Coordinate for timely material availability.

4- Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Follow up with contractors for committed timelines.
• Verify work measurements before billing.
• Assist in checking work-based payment requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.

5- Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain:
• Material inward/outward register
• Work completion reports
• Measurement sheets
• Site issue logs
• Support QS/Accounts team for bill verification.

6- Safety & Compliance

• Ensure basic site safety practices are followed.
• Report unsafe activities immediately.
• Ensure site cleanliness and organized workflow.

Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of:
• RCC structure
• Brickwork & plastering
• Tile laying & finishing works
• Waterproofing basics
• Electrical & plumbing coordination
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge
• Basic MS Excel knowledge

Skills & Traits

• Strong follow-up and supervision skills
• Attention to detail (especially finishing works)
• Ability to handle site pressure
• Good communication with contractors & supervisors
• Discipline in reporting and documentation

Experience: 0–3 years of experience in residential or

commercial construction

CTC: 2.8 to 3.0 LPA depending upon the experience and knowledge
