Civil Engineer – Head Office
Job Summary
The Civil Engineer (Head Office) is responsible for planning, reviewing, coordinating, and supporting civil engineering projects from a technical and administrative perspective. The role focuses on design review, project coordination, cost control, documentation, and liaison with site teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered according to company standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Design
- Review and verify civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers and project teams
- Participate in value engineering and design optimization
Project Coordination
- Coordinate between head office, project sites, consultants, and contractors
- Monitor project progress through reports, schedules, and site feedback
- Assist in planning project timelines and resource allocation
- Support project handover and close-out documentation
Cost & Contract Management
- Review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
- Assist in evaluating contractor bids and technical submissions
- Monitor variations, claims, and project costs in coordination with the QS team
- Support contract administration and documentation
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed across projects
- Review inspection reports, test results, and method statements
- Support implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, progress summaries, and presentations
- Maintain accurate project records and correspondence
- Assist management with data analysis and decision-making support
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience (head office or project support role preferred)
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Primavera or similar is a plus
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Work Environment
- Based at Head Office with occasional site visits
- Professional office environment with collaborative team interaction
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
