Junior Engineer / Draftsman/Estimator

Job description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, technical evaluations, and material take-offs for electrical projects and is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on architectural, engineering, or design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing electrical project estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Study tender drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations and technical data
• Support senior estimators and project engineers in cost analysis and proposal preparation
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client requirements
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and design instructions from engineers
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design details.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications:

• 0–3 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and estimation concepts
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD and estimation software knowledge is a plus
• Good communication and analytical skills
