Junior Engineer Maintenance

Job Title: Maintenance Jr. Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, and Milling machines.

Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults in CNC/VMC machines.

Handle electrical panels, wiring, sensors, limit switches, encoders, relays, contactors, and drives.

Troubleshoot CNC control issues.

Perform machine calibration, alignment, and accuracy checks.

Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine availability.

Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of CNC/VMC machines.

Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and maintenance records.

Ensure adherence to safety, EHS, and electrical standards during maintenance activities.

Skills Required

Hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, and Milling machine maintenance.

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, ladder diagrams, and machine manuals.

Knowledge of servo motors, VFDs, drives, and PLC basics.

Good troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.

Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.

1–3 years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC machine electrical & mechanical maintenance is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,261.54 per month
