Responsibilities
- Support Lima Films’ outreach and communications with studios, networks, streamers, production companies, and industry partners.
- Assist in preparing project materials, pitch packages, and submission tracking for development, financing, co-production, and acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct research on industry trends, buyers, production companies, and marketplace opportunities.
- Assist with reviewing, organizing, and tracking agreements related to development, production, rights, financing, and distribution.
- Coordinate with outside counsel, producers, and internal teams on deal flow and project status updates.
- Evaluate scripts, decks, and creative material that align with Lima Films’ brand and long-term strategy.
- Help maintain relationships with creatives, managers, agents, attorneys, and executives across the entertainment industry.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree required.
- Strong interest in entertainment law, film/TV development, business affairs, or media production.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with entertainment contracts, intellectual property, or production workflows is a plus.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and passion for creative storytelling.
- Prior internships or experience in entertainment, media, talent agencies, production companies, or law firms is preferred but not required.

Compensation
- Compensation is primarily performance-based and tied to deals, partnerships, and opportunities successfully sourced or closed by the candidate.
- Opportunity for commission-based earnings and long-term growth within the company.
- Flexible structure depending on experience and contribution level (DOE).
Pay: $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
